Nicholas’ Pupillage and first years after call were spent in Chambers in Portsmouth and he has been at Clock Chambers since 1997. He came to the Bar later in life having worked in many fields, including a spell in the Royal Air Force, which gives him life experience outside of the Bar.
He has always practised in various areas, although his main field has been and remains all aspects of Family Law, both public and private. He has been instructed by various local authorities, respondents and guardians in public work. He regularly undertakes General Civil, Criminal, Employment, Prison Law and Personal Injury work. Nicholas says, “A rather old fashioned general approach but one which keeps me on my toes.”
Distance is no barrier for Nicholas and he has appeared in Courts throughout the Country, and will also appear at any level of tribunal.
